Ty Baynton - Wrong Turns Lyric Graphics (2021)
About the Project:
In 2021, I was tasked with designing lyric graphics for Canadian country singer/songwriter, Ty Baynton. The project included 6 lyric graphics, each depicting a popular line from one of the 6 songs from his Wrong Turns album (2021). This was paired with a western icon that matched the song and his branding.
In addition, each of the graphics was formatted for use on Instagram & Facebook. The graphics were posted both in 2021 and 2022.
Stylistically, I was inspired by old woodburn signage & wooden crates. Thus, I decided to go with an industrial barn x country grunge look. I felt that this style would resonate with his audience and match his existing branding. The design was also used for each of the lyric graphics to create consistency across his socials and brand recognition.
